Day 1 – Maidenhead

When I was young, I had a dream.

And I’ve had that same dream many times.

I open my eyes and I realise I am on the top of a building.

A big building.

Among a big city.

I close my eyes and I go to the edge of the roof.

I am walking.

I am walking.

And I stop walking.

I can feel the edge under my feet.

I open my eyes.

I look down.

And I hear a voice, a man’s voice.

I know this voice; I can’t recognise this voice but I do know this.

He says me: “Jump. Jump. Jump. Someone will catch you.”

After hesitating for a moment, I jump.

I am falling.

I am falling.

And more I’m falling, more the ground is far.

I close my eyes.

And…!

I feel light.

When I open my eyes, I am flying.

It’s Spider-Man.

Spiderman caught me.

I feel so tiny.

I feel so tiny…

After a while, he drops me to the ground.

I look at him and…

He is taller than me but not as much as I could think.

I mean, I felt very tiny and…

So I tell him “But… You are not… very tall”.

He answers “Maybe you are not as short as you think. Now, you have to get out of here.”

I realise the city is like… abandoned, deserted.

It’s not in ruins but…

To be continued…
